Director of Fossil Fuel Development

The Director of Fossil Fuel Development at the Wyoming Energy Authority will oversee the development and implementation of strategies related to oil, gas, helium, coal, carbon capture, pipeline infrastructure, geothermal development, and mining activities, including trona and bentonite. The Director will be responsible for tracking and analyzing federal and state legislation and regulations, review of NEPA documents, drafting comment letters, developing strategic documents, and staying informed on international and domestic market trends. This role will also include project development and tracking.

Nuclear and Critical Minerals Industry Coordinator

The Nuclear and Critical Minerals Industry Coordinator at the Wyoming Energy Authority will play a pivotal role in advancing the nuclear industry within Wyoming, focusing mainly on uranium mining, nuclear fuel cycle, advanced reactor economy, fuel storage, nuclear supply chains, rare earth and critical mineral development, and overall value chain opportunities. The Coordinator will be responsible for tracking and analyzing federal and state legislation and regulations, promoting awareness and understanding of nuclear energy’s role in the state’s energy portfolio and staying informed on international and domestic market trends.
