State Energy Program Grants for 2024

The State Energy Program is offering grants for energy audits and retrofits for K-12 Schools, Local Governments

Cheyenne, WY – The Wyoming Energy Authority’s State Energy Program announced today the opening of its annual grant program for energy audits and retrofits for K-12 Schools and Local Governments.

In the 2024 grant cycle, the State Energy Program will provide grants to K-12 schools for lighting retrofits, local governments for energy efficiency retrofits, and small businesses for energy audits and retrofits. Applications are open from March 1 to May 31, 2024.

 The grants available are up to $50,000 and have different cash-matching requirements depending on the program. Recipients interested in the K-12 Schools or Local Government must first participate in the free WYLite Energy Audit.

In 2023, the State Energy Program funded 21 projects across Wyoming. This program is funded through a formula grant from the U.S. Department of Energy. Grants operate on an annual cycle.
