The Wyoming Energy Authority submitted public comment on the Bureau of Land Management’s Notice of Intent to prepare an environmental impact statement (EIS) to analyze the potential environmental effects from maintaining or revoking former Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell’s coal leasing moratorium. 

Executive Director Rob Creager wrote the public comment describing how a coal leasing moratorium would cause “significant and unnecessary harm” to Wyoming as well as the United States.
