Home Energy Savings Program

Wyoming is in the process of developing the Wyoming Home Energy Savings Program (HESP).

This program is designed to help residents save money on their energy bills by funding projects to make homes or apartments more energy efficient. Depending on eligibility, the program can help fund an assessment of the home to recommend energy efficient improvements and a range of projects, such as upgrading home insulation and installing more efficient electric appliances. At a minimum, residents who already qualify for Wyoming state programs such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), and Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) are expected to be eligible for this program.

The Wyoming Energy Authority (WEA) expects to launch HESP in 2025 – watch this page for program details as well as more information on who is eligible and how to apply!

Public Input Session for HESP
